Eldridge has been the elected highway surveyor for more than 15 years. Incumbent Rochester Highway Surveyor Jeffrey Eldridge, of 16 My Way, has returned his nomination papers, indicating he will seek another three year term. In addition to the selectman’s seat, there are 15 other town offices up for grabs in this year’s election, including the town highway surveyor’s position, which is the highest paid elected town position. Murphy ran against the incumbent selectman Morse in 2010, and in 2013, losing each time by a comfortable margin.

Clinical conferences include bi-monthly dermatology Grand Rounds, a tumor board in which complex skin cancers are discussed in a multidisciplinary format, and quarterly Dermatology-Rheumatology Grand Rounds in which complex rheumatologic patients are discussed in conjunction with an outside speaker. Teaching also occurs through unknown slide sessions, slides quizzes and formal lectures, at least once monthly. When possible, pathology residents are invited to accompany the dermatology resident to round on particularly interesting patient’s from the inpatient service. Dermatology residents, pathology residents and visiting fellows participate in the signout. Services consist of a mixture of office based dermatology samples with consultations and major skin and soft tissue excisions for cutaneous malignancies, including multiple samples for evaluation of melanoma in sentinel lymph nodes.ĭermatopathology teaching occurs on a daily basis at the multiheaded microscope located in Surgical Pathology. The laboratory has an extensive menu of immunocytochemical stains, in-situ hybridization test, and molecular studies for T and B cell gene rearrangements and B-raf mutation analysis available.
The Dermatopathology service performs over 14,000 patient biopsies per year from hospital-based clinics, inpatient service and ambulatory care settings from the community.
